Lefty Kreh’s TieFest

At this year’s TieFest I’ll be giving a brand NEW seminar titled “Tips and Tactics for Fly Fishing the Marsh.” We will uncover tricks of the trade that should help to improve your catch on the backwaters of Tangier Sound and all Chesapeake Bay marshes. Be sure to stop by my booth and say hi!

Pocomoke River Trips

22 01 2019

Plenty of good dates available for some hot winter fishing on the Pocomoke River. Big yellow perch, huge pickerel, crappie and bass, all on ultralight spin tackle, or fly fishing if you prefer. Call or text at 443-783-3271. Kjosenhans@aol.com

Last Trip

3 12 2018

Last striper trip of the season ended with a flurry. Some fat footballs came over the side on fly and spin gear. Looking forward to pickerel, jumbo yellow perch and crappie on the Pocomoke River.

Late Fall Striper Action on the Chesapeake

27 11 2018

We’ve enjoyed some great fall Striper fishing on Tangier Sound and the lower bay this fall. Both chasing birds working over schooling rockfish to 30″ and the ever popular creek fishing in and around the islands. Enjoy a few photos of recent trips.

DOA Shad Tail Does it Again

13 10 2018

My go-to bait for big shallow water stripers is the DOA CAL 4″ Shad Tail in pearl. Attach to a DOA Premium Jig Head. The results speak for themselves.

ALL DATES HAVE BEEN FILLED! Thanks for your overwhelming response, sorry I couldn’t work you all in. I have a few dates remaining in September, October and November.

I’ve made available four days during the last week of August that I had previously kept off the books. Dates available are August 27, 28, 29, 30. This is a great time of the year to fish out of both Crisfield and/or Madison on the Little Choptank. Crisfield will see rockfish, specks, bluefish and maybe slot reds. The Little Choptank should have its annual run of breakers, with rockfish, bluefish and possibly Spanish mackerel in the mix. The Little Choptank is especially good for those traveling from the western shore wanting a half day morning or evening trip. An easy day trip with lots of action. Call, text or email now at kjosenhans@aol.com or 443-783-3271. Walk ons can be arranged.

Oriental, NC

12 07 2018

Just back from a week with the family in beautiful Oriental, NC. Sailboats and shrimp boats aplenty, like the brochure says. #orientalnc #tangierfly @visitoriental #visitonc
