The annual striped bass spawning survey is out and it’s not good news. But that’s to be expected as these things fluctuate from year to year. There are currently good numbers of juvenile rockfish from both the 2017 and 2018 year classes roaming the eastern shore river systems. Hopefully, the 2020 conservation measures soon to be enacted by Maryland DNR will be successful in preserving these young stripers.
