Crappie, yellow perch and pickerel are biting on the Pocomoke River. When the water temperature dips into the upper 30’s after several cold nights a jig ‘n minnow combination helps goad the cold-blooded fish into eating. As the temperature climbs above forty the panfish and pike will take flies and small plastics more readily. Catches of thirty to fifty fish per angler are possible when conditions are right. The water is clear and ice free so come on out and give it a try!

Sounds like a great day of fishing. I haven’t tried when temperatures are in that area. I like it a little warmer. I might have to give this a whirl!
